These tips from the Elite Wellness coaching http://www.elite-wellness-coaching.com/treadmill-tips.html webpage.

- Always mount and dismount after the belt stops
- Standupright with your head
- Keep your hips tucked under your torso
- Let arms swing naturally (sins of holding on to treadmill in a later post)
- Walk of jog near the front end of controls within easy reach
- Stay hydrated
Think about it. Walking or jogging on a treadmill should be the same as on a track or trail. So if your posture is somehow different. You're doing something wrong.
ReplyDeleteDo not buy a treadmill at a garage sell unless they will let you turn it on and job a few mintues. Trust me even bad treadmills look good unplugged.
ReplyDeleteI need a treadmill that comes with a surround-screen of changing nature scenes and lightly blowing wind, birds chirping, etc. to help me think I'm outside. I just hate using a treadmill at a gym trying to ignore the old man next to me running twice as fast and twice as long! Plus I don't like seeing other people sweat. Give me scenery please:-)
